Case-1349
Patient Details:
This 53 year old woman had undergone previous bilateral mastectomies and immediate bilateral reconstructions with latissimus dorsi flaps and saline implants for left breast carcinoma in the past by another surgeon out of state. She had subsequently undergone multiple revisions but remained displeased with complaints of firm and painful contractures, distortion and discomfort, right more so than left. She underwent revision of both breast reconstructions by Dr. Kalus with pocket modification, introduction of acellular dermal matrix, and conversion to smooth round silicone gel implants. She is seen before surgery, and one year after her revision surgery.
